National Deputation
The National Deputation, which was set up by Law Decree no. 174 dated April 6th 2006, Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies, is the supervision and general direction body of the BMTI.
The National Deputation maintains and update the list of the Intermediary Agents (SAI), created in an electronic format.
In particular the National Deputation has the following functions:
- it supervises the Management Company and the general functioning of the BMTI and the markets;
- it standardize the dealing conditions, the security and guarantee procedures of transactions;
- it establishes disciplinary measures for Intermediary Agents who have broken the General Regulation, Product Special Regulations, the General Dispositions and/or professional ethics;
- it registers the Intermediary Agents in the provided list, which it also maintains.
